Trenni Kusnierek and Gary Tanguay list their X Factors on offense against the Colts.

Who will be the X-factors on offense for the Patriots in their AFC Divisional Playoff matchup with the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday?

That's the question Trenni Kusnierek and Gary Tanguay tackle on Arbella Early Edition.

Kusinerek thinks it'll come from the running backs, Shane Vereen or LaGarrette Blount. Althought don't rule out wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins if the Colts focus on taking away Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola from Tom Brady.

It's Vereen who is most intriguing, Kusinerek said. "Indianapolis gives up a lot of receptions to running backs," she said. That's Vereen's specialty.

Tanguay said he's going "outside the box" for his X-Factor pick: Fullback James Develin.

"Ignore the numbers," on Develin, Tanguay said. Brady is going to need to be protected, particularly from Colts' pass rusher Robert Mathis. That's where Develin comes into play as an overlooked key for the Pats.
