Once again, Sebastian Vollmer was the only player not at Patriots practice. Friday's session was the third straight the third-year tackle has missed this week.
Vollmer, who has been the projected starter on the right side, is suffering from a lingering back injury and his absence from practice this week makes it unlikely that he will play in Monday night's regular season opener.
Rookie Nate Solder would, presumably, start at right tackle in Vollmer's place.
A more in-depth injury report will be released by the Patriots later this afternoon.
