Terrell Suggs resumes firing on Tom Brady

If there's some Patriots -- or, more specifically, Tom Brady -- bashing going on, you know Terrell Suggs wants in on it.

So even though the Ravens linebacker has his own big game this week, against the Steelers (and, to prove he's an equal-opportunity hater, he wore a T-shirt that screamed "Hey Pittsburgh" with the middle finger extended), Suggs took time out of his busy day to take some more shots at the Patriots quarterback in an interview on Sirius XM Radio.

While praising Ben Roethlisberger's two Super Bowl championships, Suggs began comparing the Steelers QB to other contemporary quarterbacks.

"If I'm correct Manning's only won one, both Peyton and Eli Manning that is, and Phillip Rivers doesn't have any," he said, "and Tom Brady has three, I think, a questionable three."

Questionable?

"Oh, you know, you've got the tuck rule incident and then you've got the videotaping of the other team's practices," said Suggs. "It's just like, okay, what's going on here? You know? But, hey, it is what it is. They won the games no matter how you did it. But, um, it's whatever."

NFL owners release statements on Trump comments

President Donald Trump's comments about NFL players and his tweeted dis-invite of the Warriors led to some prominent athletes to speak out. Now NFL franchises and their owners are weighing in.

At a rally in Alabama on Friday night, Trump said NFL owners should fire players who kneel during the national anthem. And he encouraged NFL fans to walk out of games in protest.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, you’d say, ’Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired,” Trump told the rally.

He also lamented that football has become less violent.

“They’re ruining the game,” he complained.
