The New England Patriots were tasked with replacing one of the best when longtime O-line coach Dante Scarnecchia retired last year.
Former Giants lineman Chris Snee says the Patriots scored big by bringing in Dave DeGuglielmo, a Lexington, Mass. native to fill the void.
"He’s going to show emotion, he’s going to show passion," says Snee. "He’s going to be yelling up and down the field and he’ll have his pants hiked up well above his belly button… but he knows what he’s doing. He’ll have those guys prepared."
DeGuglielmo has perhaps the most daunting task of any coach not named Belichick - overseeing the lineman who will protect Tom Brady.
Scarnecchia made his mark in New England and now it's DeGuglielmo's turn.
