When the Patriots acquired Tim Wright from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, many wondered what he has to offer the team.

Now that the New England Tailgate panel knows a little more about what the tight end has to offer, they believe he can make a big difference.

"He's a matchup nightmare for linebackers," said Fred Smerlas. "He's to quick for linebackers, he's too big for defensive backs. So [Belichick] wanted that matchup, the Hernandez game scheme, and that's one of the reasons he got him."

Steve DeOssie agreed with Smerlas, explaining why Wright is a good fit in the Patriots' offense.

"This guy is a perfect compliment to what Gronkowski puts out there," said DeOssie. "He's a guy they will use in any number of formations. He's practically a very large slot receiver."
