Should Brady go to bat for more Welker playing time?

Troy Brown and Bob Ryan join Gary Tanguay on Sports Tonight to discuss what's going on with Wes Welker and the Patriots.

Bill Belichick isn't giving any answers -- per usual -- so the panel is forced to speculate.

Are the Patriots trying to move on from Welker and seeing if Julian Edelman is the man for the job? Is there something person between Welker and the Pats because of their offseason?

Troy Brown has his take, and being a former player in the league, knows what he's talking about.

Does Tom Brady have a real say in what happens? Brown says it comes down to Belichick at the end of the day.

The Patriots Hall of Fame will hold its induction ceremony for former corner Raymond Clayborn on Saturday, July 29 around midday following that morning's training camp practice. Held on the plaza outside the Hall at Patriot Place, the ceremony will be free and open to the public.

The Patriots will host the Jaguars for two days of joint practices open to the public on Monday, Aug. 7 and Tuesday, Aug. 8. The preseason opener for both clubs will take place at Gillette Stadium on Aug. 10.
