FOXBORO -- Like every other coach that's faced the Patriots this season, New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton had plenty of praise for cornerback Aqib Talib, in a conference call on Wednesday.

Payton is familiar with Talib from the cornerback's time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Payton said Talib is being used mostly in man coverage with New England, which isn't how he's seen Talib been used before.

So, ultimately, it will be a different look for Payton, when his best receiver goes up against Talib all game on Sunday, which has been no easy task for any top receiver this season in that man coverage.

"He's playing in a little bit different system," said Payton. "He's doing a great job. He's having an outstanding season. He's played a lot of man coverage, often times drawing the opponent's best receiver. He's got very good ball skills, so you've got to be very careful on where you're locating the football. He's got great makeup speed. And he's also got the size. He's having a fantastic season.

"So, you see him a little bit different, only because of the amount of man he's playing, maybe relative to when we saw him at Tampa Bay."
