Reports: Texans to hire O'Brien from Penn State

 According multiple media reports, including ESPN and CBSSports.com, The Houston Texans have lured Penn State coach Bill O'Brien, the former Patriots offensive coordinator, to become their next head coach.

O'Brien took over the Penn State program in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal and went 15-9 in two seasons as the Nittany Lions coach.

O'Brien was a Patriots assistant from 2007-12.

The deal is expected to be announced no later than Saturday.
