Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib sustained no structural damage to his knee from the hit delivered by Wes Welker in the Pats' AFC Championship Game loss, MassLive.com reported.

The hit, which knocked Talib out of the game and was criticized by Patriots coach Bill Belichick as one of the worst hits he's ever seen, left Talib "just banged up," a source told MassLive.com

Welker, the former Patriots wide receiver who signed with the Denver Broncos in the off-season, said the hit wasn't a deliberate attempt to injure Talib. The Patriots fell to the Broncos 26-16 Sunday in Denver.
