Barkevious Mingo is no longer a New Enlgand Patriot, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport. The linebacker signed with the Indianapolis Colts on a one-year deal worth $2.5 million.

Mingo contributed almost exclusively on special teams for New England during the 2016 season, as he took 4.5 percent of defensive snaps and 72 percent of the team's special teams snaps, second only to special teams ace Nate Ebner, according to Profootballreference.com.

Mingo joined the Patriots by trade during the 2016 offseason in a deal which sent a fifth-round selection to the Cleveland Browns. He played in all 16 games during the regular season, and finished the year with four tackles.
