PFT: Warren injury may be serious

Former Patriot and current Denver Bronco Ty Warren has suffered a triceps injury. According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, it is believed to be serious.

New England cut the defensive tackle on July 29. He signed a deal with the Broncos on August 2. Warren is owed 4 million for the 2011 season.

From ProFootballTalk:

The Broncos entered the post-lockout world with a massive hole at defensive tackle. They mostly filled it with veterans other teams didn't want, with (Warren) being the centerpiece. And now they may have a big hole again ... Fellow starter Marcus Thomas also left practice with a strained pectoral muscle and had to undergo an MRI Monday night.

Warren missed the entire 2010 season with a hip injury. He failed a conditioning test before his release from the Patriots.

Bennett to critics: ‘You take a paycut’

Martellus Bennett is as good at Twitter as he is at football. Add to that the fact that all eyes are on whether the free agent will stay in New England and the @MartysaurusRex account becomes a must-follow.

On Wednesday, Bennett put his powers to good use and shared a glimpse into his line of thinking regarding free agency.

Bennett, who could very well leave the Pats for more money, responded to a criticism of his desire to get paid and followed it with several more musings.
