But when it comes to on the field news, the status of Rob Gronkowski has been a hot topic as the week has wore on.
Gronk was not present for the start of practice Thursday, limited on Wednesday and reportedly got a pain injection in his right knee this week.
The latest update “seems ominous” to Paul Perillo.
“I’ve sort of been feeling all day and all week going back to Tuesday when he missed practice, ‘He’ll play. It’s a matter of how good he’ll play,’” explained Perillo. “This is the first indication to me that there’s actually a chance that he might not be able to play. ‘We’ll have to see how he feels on game day’ seems kind of ominous to me.”
