In a tumultuous offseason for the Patriots, one thing became clear. Tom Brady was going the be throwing to some new faces.

Paul Perillo of "Patriots Football Weekly" said Brady understood that and "became more involved in the process" of bringing his young receivers along this offseason and in training camp.

With rookie receivers Aaron Dobson, Josh Boyce and Kenbrell Thompkins and tight end Zach Sudfeld arriving on the scene, "I think [Brady] knew he had to do that," Perillo said.

And with veteran addition Danny Amendola, the transition "looks seamless," Perillo said.

Plus, Perillo's colleague, Andy Hart pointed out that Brady "doesn't want to be known as the cranky, old guy. He knew he needed these guys."
