Patriots practice notes: Woodhead not in pads

FOXBORO -- The Patriots had 20 players missing from Monday's fully-padded practice at Gillette Stadium, with three players in t-shirts and shorts seen briefly with the entire team at the beginning of the session.

Running backs Danny Woodhead and Kevin Faulk, and linebacker Gary Guyton were the three players not in pads.

The remaining 17 players who were not seen with the rest of the team at the beginning of practice were Albert Haynesworth (for reasons described herein) Mike Wright, Jermaine Cunningham, Ron Brace, Stevan Ridley, Leigh Bodden, Shane Vereen, Josh Barrett, Malcolm Williams, Eric Kettani, Jeff Tarpinian, Dane Fletcher, Brandon Spikes, Marcus Cannon, Ryan Wendell, Brandon Deaderick, and Lee Smith.
