The NFL lockout has ended, and players can finally return to their second homes and prepare for the 2011-12 season.

Starting Tuesday, Patriots players will return to Gillette Stadium to touch base with coaches and personnel. There won't be any physical work being done Tuesday, but more of a gathering of sorts.

Wednesday is when the players actually start to get down to business. Physicals will be done on Wednesday, and the annual conditioning run will take place. This will be the first test to see which players kept in shape during the lockout.

It's also closed to the media and the public.

Thursday marks the official start to training camp, although the schedule will not be released until Tuesday.

We do know that Thursday's practice will be open to the public, and we'll have the schedule for you when it's released.

On Wednesday, Bennett put his powers to good use and shared a glimpse into his line of thinking regarding free agency.

Bennett, who could very well leave the Pats for more money, responded to a criticism of his desire to get paid and followed it with several more musings.
