Wide receiver Danny Amendola is officially listed as out on the Patriots’ Friday injury report for their Christmas Eve afternoon home matchup with the Jets.

Amendola has been out since injuring his ankle on a punt return against the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 4.

Quarterback Tom Brady (thigh), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (knee) and tight end Martellus Bennett are among five Patriots listed as questionable. Brady was not listed on the injury report last week for the game against the Denver Broncos but had been listed in previous weeks with ankle and knee injuries. He is expected to play.

Jets quarterback Bryce Petty, who left the loss against the Miami Dolphins last week with a back injury after being sandwiched on a hit by the Dolphins' Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake, is not listed on the injury report and is expected to start.

The complete injury report:

PATRIOTS - WR Danny Amendola (ankle) out. Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder), QB Tom Brady (thigh), LB Dont’a Hightower (knee), S Jordan Richards (knee), Matthew Slater (foot) questionable

JETS - LB Lorenzo Mauldin (ankle), DT Steve McLendon (hamstring) out. RB Matt Forte (knee/shoulder) doubtful. WR Brandon Marshall (shoulder/back), RB Khiry Robinson (lower leg), DE Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle) questionable
