Patriots injury report: Jones (abdomen) limited once again

FOXBORO -- There were no changes to the Patriots injury report on Friday as linebacker Jamie Collins, corner Justin Coleman and receiver Julian Edelman were the only three players to miss the day's walkthrough.

Defensive end Chandler Jones was limited for the second consecutive day thanks to an abdominal injury. He spoke to reporters after the session, and said that he hoped the ailment wouldn't slow him down against the Bills on Monday night.

"Well, all I can do is come out and get better," Jones said. "I was limited in practice. I went out and practiced, and I’m just trying to come out each and every day and get better."

Jones leads the NFL in sacks this season with 10.5, including a strip sack of Eli Manning in Sunday's win over the Giants but his effectiveness has not been limited to his duties as a pass-rusher. He has played in all situations and has tallied more snaps on the defensive line than any other Patriots player this season with 552. (Rob Ninkovich is second with 540 snaps and rookie Malcom Brown, who was praised on Friday for the progress he's made in his first professional season, is in a distant third with 234.)

The Bills added running back Karlos Williams (illness) and offensive lineman Richie Incognito (shoulder) to their injury report. Buffalo coach Rex Ryan said on Friday that he expected Williams, Incognito and corner Leodis McKelvin to be fine for Monday night.
