The New England Patriots have succeeded in trimming their roster to 75, as the team has waived tight end Evan Landi and defensive lineman Anthony Rashad White on Tuesday

Landi was not picked in this year's NFL draft and first signed on with the Buccaneers as a rookie free agent. His release there facilitated his signing with the Patriots on August 13.

White, a 330-pounder out Michigan State, was signed as an undrafted free agent after he was dropped by the Steelers, who picked him up following the 2013 draft.

The next roster cutdown is Saturday at 6 p.m. when all teams have to be down to 53 active players.
