Patriots-Cowboys inactive list: Wendell still sidelined

Share

When the Patriots take on the Cowboys, they'll be without one of their two captains on the offensive line for the fourth consecutive game.

Ryan Wendell, who missed time due to an illness but returned to practice this week, was listed as one of New England's seven inactive players on Sunday. With Wendell out, it's expected that the Patriots will continue to roll with the four interior offensive linemen that they've used to this point in the season: center David Andrews, who has played every offensive snap through three games, and guards Shaq Mason, Tre' Jackson and Josh Kline.

Rookie defensive lineman Trey Flowers is also inactive for the fourth consecutive game. Flowers has been on the injury report with a knee injury throughout this season, and he was listed as having a shoulder injury as well beginning this week.

The Patriots will dress four wide receivers on Sunday as Aaron Dobson has also been named as one of the team's inactives. Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and Keshawn Martin will likely see the vast majority of the work at the receiver spot, but special teams ace and receiver Matthew Slater is also active.

Patriots corner Tarell Brown, who landed on the injury report this week with a foot issue, is active. He dressed for the Week 3 game with the Jaguars but did not play. Also active is newly-acquired defensive lineman Akiem Hicks, who could be a factor in the rotation on the interior of the Patriots defensive line.

Here are all the inactive players for today's game, which will kick off at 4:25 p.m. EST.
