Terrell Thomas, a 6-foot-1, 191-pound corner who battled knee issues while a member of the Giants, worked out for the Patriots on Thursday.
The 29-year-old Thomas had 67 tackles and a pick for the Giants last season. He played all 16 games after missing all of 2011 and 2012 with knee injuries.
Thomas’ commitment to return and performance last season was one of the most impressive under-the-radar stories of 2013.
As a bigger corner, he’d be another interesting addition to the previously shrimpy set the Patriots had on the back end.
Thomas’ workout was first reported by Field Yates of ESPNBoston.
