Panthers' Newton cracks Deflategate joke about Brady

Tom Brady has taken his fair share of criticism since "Deflategate" was born back in January, but he's also had plenty of support from fans as well as players across the league, past and present.

NFL legends Brett Favre and Dan Marino are two who came to Brady's defense, while Troy Aikman was more critical of the Patriots quarterback. There is no shortage of opinions.

There is also no shortage of jokes about the over-blown under-inflated fiasco, and those won't stop anytime soon, either.

The latest wise crack comes courtesy of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, who is seen in the video below getting ready to throw a football before tossing it aside due to its presumed under-inflation while saying, "Tom Brady?"

Brady is appealing his four-game suspension and meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday.

The Patriots don't play the Panthers in the regular season, but they do meet in Week 3 of the preseason, in which both teams can expect to play their starting quarterbacks for a bit.
