Norris: Garoppolo worth 2nd-round pick if traded

Finding the quarterback of the future is not an easy thing to do in the NFL.

Considering that many have said Patriots backup Jimmy Garoppolo would have been the third best quarterback in this draft, would the Patriots consider dealing him?

NBC Sports draft guru Josh Norris joined SportsNet Central to share his insight on Garoppolo's trade value if the team decides to make a move prior to the 2015 NFL Draft.

"If he was in this draft I could see Jimmy going in the first round because a team would get that fifth year option," said Norris. "If he's traded you only have three years left on his deal, he's already been in a different system, he's not coming in and learning your system immediately. I would say a second-rounder trading him, but if he was in this class I could see a team trading back into the first round for him."
