FOXBORO -- As the Patriots prepare for Sunday's game with the Dallas Cowboys, only three players were absent for Wednesday's practice at Gillette Stadium.

Linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee), defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion), and safety Josh Barrett (hamstring) were not present for the shells and shorts session.

Wright was a participant in practice last week.

Notable limited participants in practice on Wednesday were Sebastian Vollmer (back), Danny Woodhead (ankle), and Julian Edelman (ankle).
