Mangold proves two can play Welker's game

Over twenty four hours after Wes Welker's alleged veiled jabs at Rex Ryan's "personal matter," New York Jets' center Nick Mangold fired back.

Mangold's twitter account posted the following tweet shortly after 9 p.m. Friday:

"Wes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate"

Note the key words "film," "Spy" and "Gate," references to the 2007 Spygate scandal which cost the Patriots a first-round draft choice and 250,000. Bill Belichick was fined 500,000.
