Leftover locker room notes: Cannon (toe) passes through

FOXBORO -- It was a quiet afternoon inside the Patriots locker room one day after their 27-10 victory over Washington, but here are a few quick notes from the media availability period . . .

* Patriots tackle Marcus Cannon was spotted passing through the locker room quickly as the offensive linemen returned from their meetings. He did not stop to chat with reporters, but he did not appear to be walking with any sort of noticeable limp, and he was not wearing any kind of protective gear on his foot. The 6-foot-5, 340-pounder has missed New England's last three games with a toe injury and has not practiced since playing 11 snaps against the Colts in Week 6.

* Rookie guard Tre' Jackson was also seen walking through the locker room wearing a brace on his left knee. He was knocked out of the team's Week 8 game against the Dolphins in the fourth quarter.

* A few more passers-by, Duron Harmon and Jon Bostic, made brief appearances in the locker room. Harmon remained on the turf in the fourth quarter with what looked like a potential knee injury. He jogged off the field after being tended to by trainers, and on Monday he chatted quickly with reporters and seemed to be moving fine. Bostic was limping on the Patriots sideline late in the game after being stepped on during a Patriots punt. He indicated on Sunday that there was no injury concern there.

* Players were in and out of the locker room quickly perhaps in part because two of their teammates are hosting charitable events on Monday night. Receiver Danny Amendola's Catches for Kids foundation is holding its "Flights and Bites" event at Loretta's Last Call on Landsdowne Street in Boston. Safety Devin McCourty, meanwhile, is helping to host a casino night at Royale on Tremont Street in Boston to benefit his Tackle Sickle Cell campaign.
