A report on Deadspin.com that Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather allegedly pulled a gunand shot at a man involved in a dispute with one of his friends, grazing theintended target and striking another man in thehead, is getting murkier by the minute.

Attorney John Morgan, the on-the-record source of the Deadspin story, appeared on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan Show Thursday morning and said he has "a lot of doubt" that Meriweather was actually the shooter.

"That's what the two victims, who are his clients told me," Morgan told hosts Gerry Callahan and Dale Arnold. (Arnold was filling in for John Dennis.) "I don't assume that to be true at all. I assume nothing to be true until we get the investigation completed."

Also, the Boston Globe's Greg Bedard reported on Twitter that a source told him Meriweather "wasn't" the shooter.

The Sheriff's Office in Orange County Florida is reportedly investigating the incident. The report on Deadspin says a friend of Meriweather's was involved in an altercation with a woman at Blue Jeans Lounge in Apokpa, Florida. The woman's brother arrived at a party later and, when a fight broke out, Meriweather "allegedly pulled out his gun and fired at the brother, grazing the man's face and hitting the other victim in the head."Morgan told Deadspin the person struck in the head is "extremely lucky to be alive." If true, this wouldn't be Meriweather's first gun-related incident. While at the University of Miami, Meriweather returned fire at assailants who shot his then-teammate Willie Cooper in the buttocks. Meriweather had a permit for the gun and it was determined he acted in self-defense.

Tom Brady posts skiing video with dated South Park reference

Tom Brady’s annual attempt at making the collective testicles of New England draw up into its stomach has succeeded.

Brady posted on Instagram and Facebook a video (see below) of him skiing somewhere that we aren’t. He approaches a decent-sized jump, hits it, appears to stick the landing, blurts, “Whoa…” and then the camera shows an empty ski and a lifeless body.

Actually, no lifeless body. Watched it a second time. No lifeless body.

Brady has graduated from sliding down waterslides and cliff-diving to this latest offseason effort to make sure everyone still cares about his safety.

They do.

Next season, Russian Roulette.

If you french fry when you're supposed to pizza, you're gonna have a bad time! Trust me!!!
