The Patriots continued to tinker with their rosters on Tuesday.
Offensive lineman Matt Tennant was released and running back Lex Hilliard, who worked out with the Patriots on Tuesday, has signed with the team to take Tennant's spot on the roster, according to the Boston Globe.
Tennant had been claimed off of waivers by the Pats over the weekend.
The Patriots also released fullback Eric Kettani off of their practice squad, according to reports. He had been signed onto the practice squad over the weekend after not making the 53-man roster on Friday.
