Who is Tim Wright?
Many in New England were asking that question when the Patriots acquired the second-year tight end from Tampa Bay.
Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald joined Arbella Early Edition to break down what he brings to the Patriots offense.
"I think there's reason to believe he can make an impact," said Howe. "I think you're looking at a guy who is going to be used in a sort of similar way as Aaron Hernandez was during his time here."
Howe believes the deal gives the Patriots insurance at the tight end position.
"Last year when Gronkowski wasn't on the field, their tight ends not named Gronk caught, I think 14 passes. It might have only been 12. If for some reason Gronk is not ready for week one, or he goes down again along the way, at least they'll know they'll have somebody over the middle they can throw the ball to."
