Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez pleaded the Fifth Amendment on Wednesday in response to a civil suit that alleges he shot a friend in the face in February in Florida.

Hernandez, 24, being held without bail on first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd in June, and being investigated for his connection to a double-murder in Boston's South end in July 2012, was sued by Alexander Bradley, 31, who alleges that Hernandez shot him in the face after the two were at a Miami strip club in February.

Here's more on Bradley's suit from The Boston Globe.
