NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell finds himself in a pretty sticky situation as Tom Brady's Deflategate appeal approaches.
In the past few days, the New York Times and Washington Post criticized the Wells Report and the NFL's investigation. But in the Post's article, the author took aim at the league's commissioner in particular.
Andy Hart of Patriots Football Weekly says Goodell "looks bad no matter what."
"He has put himself in a position because of the way he's handled this," said Hart. "Once that fire was burning, Goodell could do nothing to put it out and he made it worse. He kept adding fuel to the fire. He can't win here."
