The NFL announced its roster of First-Team All-Pros for 2015 on Friday, and the Patriots had two players honored: tight end Rob Gronkowski and kicker Stephen Gostkowski.

For Gronkowski, it was the third time he's been named as a First-Team All-Pro in his six-year career. This season, despite missing a game due to a bone bruise/sprained knee in Week 13, he led all tight ends in yards (1,176), yards per catch (16.3) and plays of 20 yards or more (22). He was second among tight ends in touchdowns (11) behind Cincinnati's Tyler Eifert (13). Among Gronkowski's statistical accomplishments this season, he cracked the top three in terms of career touchdown leaders at the tight end position. With 65 scores, he trails only Tony Gonzalez and San Diego's Antonio Gates.

Gostkowski's All-Pro selection was the second time he's been named a First-Teamer (2008). He was second in the league with 33 field goals made in 2015, and he missed just three on the season. Gostkowski continued to be the game's most reliable extra-point kicker, despite the rule change enacted this season that pushed those kicks back from the two-yard line to the 15-yard line. Though the kicks were longer, Gostkowski continued his record streak of consecutive point-after attempts made by converting on all 52 of his tries.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was beaten out for the First-Team nod by Cam Newton, who led his team to the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a 15-1 regular-season record. Brady led the NFL in touchdowns (36) and threw for 4,770 yards, which was third-best in the league.

Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins was honored as a Second-Team All-Pro selection for the first time in his career. Collins missed four regular-season games due to illness, but he finished the season as one of the top playmakers on one of the top defenses in the league. He recorded five forced fumbles, recovered one fumble for a touchdown, intercepted a pass, had six passes defensed, tallied 5.5 sacks and posted 89 tackles.
