Tom E. Curran, Mike Giardi and Phil Perry check in from a rainy Foxboro to give you the latest on Patriots camp.
Despite the rain, Tom Brady was 11 for 17 on 11-on-11 drills.
"I know he thinks he didn't have the best day," said Perry. "but he was still pretty accurate considering the conditions out there, very wet balls. His throws weren't pinpoint, a little behind some of his receivers, but Julian Edelman especially made some catches to save him, and he ended up having a pretty good day."
Speaking of quarterbacks, Tom E. Curran was impressed with Jimmy Garoppolo on Wednesday.
"One ting about Jimmy Garoppolo is he gets off his reads really quickly, and that's a good thing," said Curran. "He doesn't lock in on a guy and stay there. He gets his eyes from the first read to the second read, and that's why we're seeing success."
