On "Uno Sports Tonight," Chris Gasper and Ben Volin of the Boston Globe break down whether or not they think the Pats need Rob Gronkowski or Danny Amendola to win on Sunday.
Gasper said Gronk would be a big help.
"I think they do [need Gronkowski]," Gasper said. "Gronk would help, particularly in the red zone. He's such a huge weapon. He draws the attention of the defense making it easy for the other guys."
Volin said if Gronk does return, he sees the Pats easing him back into the offense. "Maybe 25 snaps," he said. Still, Volin also sees Gronkowski as a necessity in the red zone. The Patriots are dead last in red zone efficiency so far. Getting the big tight end back would go long way toward fixing that.
On Amendola, co-host Gary Tanguay said anybody that thinks Amendola is going to be 100 percent this season is kidding themselves.
"It's a mixed bag [on Amendola]," Volin said. "You're not sure what you're going to get."
volin pointed out that Julian Edelman has filled in nicely in Amendola's absence.
Celtics coach Brad Stevens says every team has losses it's "really sick about." Losing to the undermanned Heat on Wednesday qualifies.
