FOXBORO -- News of note from the Patriots' 30-23 victoruy over the Jets on Sunday, courtesy of the Patriots' P.R. department:

PATRIOTS OFF TO 6-0 START: The Patriots are 6-0 the third time in team history and for the first time since 2007. The Patriots also started 6-0 in 2004 and '07.

THIRTY AND COUNTING: The Patriots have scored 30 or more points in five straight games, their longest such streak since 2011.

RECORD PACE, PART ONE: The Patriots have scored 213 points so far in 2015, putting them on pace to finish the season with 568. That would be the second-most in New England history and the third-most in NFL history, behind the 606 points scored by Denver in 2013 and the 598 scored by the Patriots in 2007.

RECORD PACE, PART TWO: Tom Brady passed for 355 yards Sunday and has 2,054 passing yards, putting him on pace to finish the season with 5,477 passing yards. That would tie Peyton Manning’s NFL-record 5,477 passing yards, set in 2013.

RECORD PACE (ALMOST), PART THREE: The Patriots had two quarterback sacks Sunday and now have 21 sacks through six games, putting them on pace to finish the season with 56. The franchise record for sacks in a season is 58, set in 1977.

A FIRST: Stephen Gostkowski’s 24-yard field goal in the third quarter were the first points scored against the Jets in the third quarter in 2015.

HE'S NUMBER ONE: Brady started his 213th game, setting a franchise record. Bruce Armstrong held the previous record, which was 212.

NO, HE'S NUMBER FIVE: Brady became the fifth NFL player to reach 55,000 passing yards, passing the mark during the game and finishing the game with 55,312 career passing yards.

EIGHT AND COUNTING: The Patriots have won eight consecutive games against the Jets at Gillette Stadium with Brady starting. The Jets last beat Brady and the Pats at Gillette on Nov. 12, 2006, the final game played before the stadium's natural grass was replaced by artificial turf.

PERSONAL BEST, PART ONE: Rob Gronkowski set a career high for most receptions in a game (11). His previous regular-season career high was nine, and his playoff high is 10.

PERSONAL BEST, PART two: Stephen Gostkowski has kicked 24 consecutive field goals dating back to last season, setting a personal record for consecutive field goals. He is one kick shy of Adam Vinatieri’s team record of 25.
