Edelman (hand) returns to Patriots practice

FOXBORO -- Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman returned to practice on Thursday, after missing the last two-and-a-half weeks with a hand injury. Edelman was wearing shells and sweats with his teammates and was also sporting what seemed to be some type of red brace on his injured right hand that he injured in New England's Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Missing from Thursday's practice was safety Steve Gregory (hip), linebacker Tracy White (foot), and tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion).
