It was another disappointing performance filled with drop passes for the rookie wide receivers of the New England Patriots.
Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins struggled against the New York Jets, with Dobson catching three passes off of 10 targets and Thompkins catching two passes from seven targets.
On "Postgame Live," Trenni Kusnierek and Jerry Thornton broke down the play of both receivers, even leading to new nicknames for both players.
Thornton called the pair of rookies, Aaron "Dropson" and Kenbrell "Dropkins."
Brady was frustrated with the lack of help from his receivers, as Brady completed just 49 percent of his passes.
“I’m not sure who was more frustrated tonight, the fans watching at home or Tom Brady who looked exasperated with his receiving core,” Kusnierek said.
