Dickerson: Patriots don't have enough competition

Is the New England Patriots’ regular season schedule actually too easy? Gary Tanguay and Greg Dickerson discussed on Early Edition the possibility that the Patriots won’t face their next serious challenge until late in the year, or even in the playoffs.

Dickerson went as far to say the Patriots’ schedule reminds him of when the Celtics beat the Rockets in the 1981 and 1986 NBA Finals, because it’s just not the same as beating a true rival like the Lakers.

“We’ve seen enough championships around here with this team that I don’t want them to back in,” said Dickerson. “I don’t want them to want them to win a Super Bowl because they’re so much better than everybody else. I want a challenge along the way.”
