Patriots fullback James Develin has got the team's "Do your job" mantra down.
"I'm just trying to do my job and be there wherever they need me," Develin told Comcast sportsNet's Mike Giardi on "Patriots Wednesday Live."
The fullback is kind of a dying breed in the NFL, but Develin is happy the Pats utilize the position.
"It's starting to phase out a little bit," he said. "but it's had kind of a revival. It is a pass-first league."
Because of that, he's lined up wide a few times and made some catches out of the backfield. Develin said he's grateful for the chance to show his versatility and that he's more than just a blocking back.
