Tom Brady's appeal process starts next week, and could carry on into the NFL season if the quarterback and NFLPA decide to take things to court.
Steve DeOssie believes Brady will be looking out for himself and not the Patriots as the process moves forward.
"I think that Tom Brady is his own man at this point," said DeOssie. "He'll be more concerned about his legacy than he will about Bob Kraft or Bill Belichick at this point."
