Deflategate: Twitter accidentally rips journalist Tom Bradby

ITV political editor Tom Bradby is a victim of America's hasty hot takes.

In Twitters' "Deflategate" maelstrom, it appears blind rage has caused a storm of typos. And instead of directing their fiery criticism at Patriots quarterback Tom Brady -- who was recently punished four games for deflating footballs -- twitter users have accidentally ripped poor british journalist, Tom Bradby.

While unfortunate, it should come as no surprise, that the sporting world is misdirecting its angst. Patriots fans were ranked the fourth-worst spellers in a recent study done by The Wall Street Journal. And the rival Dolphins fanbase came in at No. 3.

Bradby's running monologue illuminates what it's like to be Tom Brady (only on Twitter) for a day:

Likely because he was forced to become educated on the issue, he weighed in on the topic, and sided with his fellow Tom.

And despite the raining invective, he's managed to keep his sense of humor.

While the fans are at fault, Brady probably owes this guy a thank you note or a phone call -- if only for a laugh. The abuse Bradby endured was severe and constant.
