Matthew Slater, Marcus Cannon, Julian Edelman and Jabaal Sheard were all dinged up in Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Tom E. Curran says he isn’t “sounding the alarms” for any of those injuries, but says Dont’a Hightower was missed in Week 6.
“He has an impact in terms of setting the defense, being a factor in coverage, being a factor in the running game, being just an overall factor,” explained Curran. “They’re going against a Jets team coming up with Chris Ivory and Brandon Marshall, one of the most physical teams on both sides of the ball in the NFL. You want those ribs to get better so (Hightower) is back out there.”
