Coming: Curran interview with Nate Solder

You're gonna like Nate Solder. I spent about five minutes with the Patriots first-round pick for an interview that will run in Thursday night's post-draft Quick Slants show (7 p.m.).You'll appreciate the story of his suit. We also got Peter King's feelings on the Patriots draft, Ryan Mallett and more. Cal coach Jeff Tedford tells us what the Patriots got in Shane Vereen and what they missed out on with Cameron Jordan. You know and I know that this is your show, though, so fire off your questions here on the Facebook page. Give us a grade on the Patriots draft (1-10) and tell us why. And tell us who was the sleeper pick the Patriots made. Nothing more dangerous than an idle Mary Paoletti and if we don't get two or three more questions, that's what we'll be dealing with. Peace.

Bennett to critics: ‘You take a paycut’

Martellus Bennett is as good at Twitter as he is at football. Add to that the fact that all eyes are on whether the free agent will stay in New England and the @MartysaurusRex account becomes a must-follow.

On Wednesday, Bennett put his powers to good use and shared a glimpse into his line of thinking regarding free agency.

Bennett, who could very well leave the Pats for more money, responded to a criticism of his desire to get paid and followed it with several more musings.
