Brown, Koppen: Which decisions should be second-guessed?

After the Patriots lost the season opener to the Miami Dolphins, there might be some criticism surrounding Patriots game plan.

On Postgame Live, Michael Felger, Troy Brown and Dan Koppen gave their opinion on which decisions deserve to be second-guessed.

Felger wanted to see Julian Edelman utilized more in the offense.

"I would start with the Julian Edelman decision offensively," said Felger. "I think Edelman is the new Welker. He is the engine of the offense… He's got to be a part of every single drive going forward. He just wasn't in the second half."

While Felger wants to see a receiver make a big impact, Dan Koppen wants to see a more balanced attack from the Patriots.

"They need to be two-dimensional," said Koppen. "This team isn't good enough at the skill receiver set to be one-dimensional. They've got to have people honor the run and they'll be able to run the ball, to pass the ball."

The post-Mankins era didn't start out well for the offensive line, and Troy Brown pointed out their struggles without the veteran guard.

"I'm second-guessing the trade of Logan Mankins," said Brown. "Watching this offensive line today struggle the way they did, not have that tough guy in the middle. They didn't get better. That fellow named, first name 'Cap', last name 'Space' never blocked nobody."
