Kenny Britt says his Foxboro visit was enlightening.

The free agent wideout was in New England earlier in the week and – following a meeting with the Bills talked to the Buffalo media.

Mike Rodak of ESPN Buffalo spoke about his visit with the Patriots.

"It was actually better than I thought it was," Britt told Rodak (via Mike Reiss at ESPNBoston). "A lot of guys, a lot of people out there that don’t know or been on the inside or think it’s strict and things like that, but it’s laid back when I got there. They got good people there. I actually worked out for them. The workout went great. I had a good time."

Bill Belichick wasn’t in the shop when Britt stopped by.

Britt says he’ll make his decision soon. “Throughout this weekend, me and my wife [are] going to sit down and we’re going to talk about it and what’s actually best for us and me mentally as I go through this process. Hopefully the next three days."

Britt has a checkered past that may make it hard for the Patriots to take a chance on him.

The 6-3, 223-pound Britt had just 11 catches last season. His career is on the skids.
