NFL Network's Bert Breer gives his reasoning for why he thinks the coach outlasts the QB.

OK, thinking long-term here, who goes first: Bill Belichick or Tom Brady?

Bert Breer of the NFL Network sees the coach outlasting the quarterback in the NFL.

"Bill Belichick will outlast Tom Brady here," Breer told Gary Tanguay and Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan on Arbella Early Edition. "I think the reason Bill Belichick stays here is because he recognizes how tough it is to get the entire operation wired the way he wants it wired. I think Bill has seen it go sideways in other places."

Belichick, the Patriots coach since 2000, has watched plenty of his colleagues get shown the door.

"Look at [current Pats offfensive coordinator] Josh McDaniels in Denver. Look at Gary Kubiak in Houston. The GM stays, he goes. Even Philadelphia [where Andy Reid was fired before resurfacing in Kansas City]...," Breer said. "He ain't leaving anytime soon. I think he wants to win without Tom Brady."
