But for the most part, all anyone can talk about is his droppedballs in practice.

On Friday, Ochocinco wasnt the goat of Patriots practice atGillette Stadium, and one reception that he made in the back of the end zonesticks out as something fans in New England will want to see more of.

Ochocinco lined up wide on the right sideline from 10 yardsout, with cornerback Devin McCourty covering him. Ochocinco went wide, and ranaround McCourty while cutting in at the back of the end zone.

The result was a perfect Tom Brady seed right in his hands, for six points.

Afterwards, Brady talked about his first week working withhis newest receiver.

Its been fun, its been fun, said Brady. The one thing Ilove about him is, hes very competitive. He wants to do the right thing. Youknow, hes been in one offense for a long time. So to try to come to a newoffense and learn everything that we do formations, motion, the details ofour route tree its challenging for anybody. And to do it on such shortnotice is another thing.

But hes working hard at it, and were working hard to beon the same page. Were making improvements, but we still have quite a ways togo.

As for all the dropped balls up until Friday, Brady wasntconcerned.

I think thats just part of training camp, said Brady. You have good days, you have bad days. The first game isnt for a couple days.Theres time to build toward that.

Bennett to critics: ‘You take a paycut’

Bennett to critics: ‘You take a paycut’

Martellus Bennett is as good at Twitter as he is at football. Add to that the fact that all eyes are on whether the free agent will stay in New England and the @MartysaurusRex account becomes a must-follow.

On Wednesday, Bennett put his powers to good use and shared a glimpse into his line of thinking regarding free agency.

Bennett, who could very well leave the Pats for more money, responded to a criticism of his desire to get paid and followed it with several more musings.
