The Patriots have once again been pulled into Aaron Hernandez's legal troubles.
The team has had their medical record, scouting records and incident reports subpoenaed by the courts.
Ron Borges joined Sports Tonight to discuss what this means for the team.
"They're fighting them in court and the don't want to hand them over," said Borges. "Which immediately makes most people think, 'what's in there?' When you've sort of presented your case as 'we knew nothing' and you've got something that indicates you had reason to know something, then it's a problem."
Borges is fascinated by with the 33 pages of text messages between Bill Belichick and Aaron Hernandez that has also been taken.
"33 pages of text messages is a lot of text messages," said Borges. "I would venture to say there isn't a similar 33 pages of text messages between coach Belichick and Logan Mankins or Devin McCourty. Something was going on."
