Borges: Brady or not, Goodell would be taking same steps

Is NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell being fair or just trying to stick it to the Patriots, who have a reputation for pushing the envelope? 

That's one of the questions that has fueled the many narratives of Deflategate. 

Over the weekend, Goodell delivered a loaded message at the Hall of Fame: "The rules apply to everybody." 

"Frankly, I think if Peyton Manning was in the same boat, [Goodell] would be doing the same thing," Ron Borges said. "Thats' who Goodell is. He’s the enforcer on Time Magazine. He’s the hanging judge. He’s going to show you I’ll hang the biggest star in the game or I’ll hang some lowly guy."
