Belichick: Waters plays OL 'the way we want it played'

Some highlights from Bill Belichick's Monday morning press conference, courtesy of CSN's Mike Giardi:

On newly acquired offensive lineman Brian Waters: He plays the position "the way we want it to be played".

On cutting defensive lineman Eric Moore: "You just can't keep everybody."

On whether he's worried that tight end Will Yeatman, released by the Pats and signed by Miami, will give the Dolphins insights as to how New England will approach the season-opening game between the teams on Monday night: "Whatever information they get is very marginal. Sometimes can do more harm than good."

On the upcoming NFL Films documentary (Bill Belichick: A Football Life:) in which he's featured: "I'm sure I'll be a main character in it . . . based on the title."

On NFL Films: "Have great trust in what they do . . . "

More on Belichick's press conference later.

Rob Gronkowski appears to thoroughly enjoy himself at Daytona 500

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski attended the Dayton 500 in true Gronkowski form.

He appeared to be there promoting Monster Energy drink, and was therefore hanging with the Monster Girls, who were also promoting the drink. Gronkowski's herniated disc injury, which required surgery in December 2016, does not seem to be slowing him down as he gets warmed up for the Summer of Gronk.

During the race coverage on FOX Sports, Gronk delivered a speed limit joke, which is sure to make the 13-year-old in you chuckle. (You can watch it here.)
