Prior to the team taking the practice field, coach BillBelichick gave his first reaction to seeing defensive lineman Albert Haynesworthsfirst practice with the team, which was on Sunday.

Alberts worked hard, said Belichick. Its coming. Wehave a long way to go. So just take it day by day. But I think hes doingfine.

Belichick defended the acquisition of the headline-grabbinglineman, saying the Patriots wouldnt have signed Haynesowrth if they thoughtit wasnt going to work out.

Not speaking on any particular player, I think as Ive saidmany times, anytime you bring a person into your organization, you have to feelcomfortable doing that, said Belichick. And that encompasses a lot ofdifferent things.

In the end, you go through the process, you gain anyinformation that you can acquire, through whatever the sources are, and youevaluate the player, evaluate your team, evaluate the situation. And if youdecide to bring that player onto your team, then you do that with theexpectations that it will work out.

Tom Brady posts skiing video with dated South Park reference

Tom Brady’s annual attempt at making the collective testicles of New England draw up into its stomach has succeeded.

Brady posted on Instagram and Facebook a video (see below) of him skiing somewhere that we aren’t. He approaches a decent-sized jump, hits it, appears to stick the landing, blurts, “Whoa…” and then the camera shows an empty ski and a lifeless body.

Actually, no lifeless body. Watched it a second time. No lifeless body.

Brady has graduated from sliding down waterslides and cliff-diving to this latest offseason effort to make sure everyone still cares about his safety.

They do.

Next season, Russian Roulette.

If you french fry when you're supposed to pizza, you're gonna have a bad time! Trust me!!!
